I am going to take a stab in the dark today and guess that some of my S&G readers are not that into exercise. I know you try and you want to learn as much as you can about health but you haven’t found the obsession for the gym that I have and that’s totally cool. I know not all of you are going to follow my new website Fit Girl Secrets as it may sound too intimidating but I would love to meet you where you are at.
I believe everyone needs to move their body every day but you have to find something that you can commit to or doesn’t feel like too much of a drag. Exercise is never easy but if you absolutely hate the gym don’t join one.
I would always encourage you to be active in your every day lives, go for walks, take the stairs at work or organise a night out dancing. Find things that connect you to your body.
However if you do want to tone up those problems areas you need to bring in a few exercises to perform almost on a daily basis to bring strength and tone to the area.
These are a few of my favourite exercises that need no gym, no equipment and you can do in the ad breaks of your favourite TV show.
1. Donkey Kick back into spiderman – Targets ass and abs
2. Plank – A daily must to target mainly core but also works your arms and legs.
3. Standing donkey kick back
4. Side lift – Works core, predominately obliques and strengthens upper body.
5. Triangle Push ups (place hands in a triangle to targets triceps
